Aster availability and restricted jurisdictions

Aster’s terms reviewed on 5 September 2026 prohibit use from or by persons connected to specified jurisdictions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela and Syria. The terms also cover sanctioned jurisdictions and prohibited persons. This summary is not an exhaustive legal eligibility test.

The restrictions concern more than citizenship: location, residence and entity connections can matter. Aster’s terms control access, and local law may impose additional obligations. Do not treat access to a website or API as proof of eligibility.
